Tequila x Song- Normal

1. Tequila trotted along happily, every now and then turning round to check that Song was still following him. Sometimes he would stop for a while to let her catch up with him. He new he was going quite fast but he was impatient to show her the cool new place he had found. He knew she would love it.

2. Song padded along behind him, trying to keep up with his fast pace but not doing so well. She was a great sprinter but they had been jogging at this pace for some time now and she wished they would just hurry up and get there. Wherever ‘there’ was. He wouldn’t tell her anything about the place that he had found apart from that he was sure she would like it.

3. Neither of the two young volpes realized that something had followed them all the way from the Crystal Cavern. Sweetie Pie the miniature love pup had seen them go, and bored with chewing the hard, heart shaped biscuit Ryuu had given him, had followed them. By now he was wondering if he should have stayed behind with that biscuit. The volpes he was following had been going at a pace that he had to run at to follow and for quite a long time now. he was feeling very worn out.

4. She had to love it, he thought to himself. It was large, with long lush grass that would be fun to play in, and it had loads of hiding places for hide and seek. There where also large, open areas for tag. And then there where all those pretty flowers. He knew Song liked flowers. He dident like them much of cause. Yuk, flowers! He was a big strong, manly volpe. Or at least he hoped he was because he was sure that would impress song.

5. As bored as she was of walking and as desperate as she was just to get wherever she was going, she was sure it would be something good. She and Tequila had been friends from when they had first learnt to walk and talk in the Crystal cavern together. So by now he knew her very well, he knew that if it was something stupid, like a dead bird he was trying to show her, she wouldent be at all happy. And since this place they where going to was so far away, it must be interesting at the least.

6. Sweetie Pie just wanted to sit down and rest now. Or maybe just go home. The problem was though, he had never really straid far from the Crystal Cavern and he suspected that if he tried to find his own way back, he would never make it. That ruled out just curling up here and going to sleep as well. Pity, he was feeling rather tired. He probably wouldn’t have been able to get to sleep though, for fear of being eaten by some big monster that could easily be lurking out here.

7. They were almost there now, he was sure of it. It had taken them a lot longer to get here then it should of. He had got a bit lost you see, well more then a little lost. He just thought of it as ‘taking the scenic route’ It had added a lot of time onto their journey, but luckily he didn’t think song had even realized he had got lost and he was now back on course.

8.Song thought vaguely of setting up a solo chant of ‘are we nearly there yet?’ But she really couldn’t be bothered. Apart from the fact that she had been doing just that for most of their journey and was very bored of saying it, she needed all the breath she had just to keep up with Tequila Sundown. Where did he get all that energy from? It was always him who wanted to keep on playing tag long after she was completely worn out.

9. Even when the two volpes he was following walked, he either had to trot or walk as fast as he could. He wished he had longer legs like them, or maybe ones as long as a griffin volpe! He found the griffins quite scary though with their really big claws and startling, beaked faces. He usually kept out of their way incase they suddenly decided to eat him. He had heard they didn’t like other volpes, so what would they think to a miniature like him?

10.Tequila slowed as they came to a large, round, lusciously green hill. He let out a bark of excitement “Its just over that hill!” He called back to Song, and this time without checking if she was behind him, he bounded up the hill. It was quite hard work even for him and he was very much out of breath by the time he made it to the top. He looked round to see where Song was and spotted her at the bottom of the hill still.

11. Song glared up at the hill, and then Tequila when he made it to the top. She didn’t want to climb up the hill, it was too big! With a grumble and moan she put one paw in front of the other and slowly started to make her way up the hill. If she ha to climb the hill she was going to take her own sweet time of it! Tequila would just have to wait for her. He might be waiting quite a long time though, at this rate. Still, patience was a virtue, and one he could really do with learning.

12. Oh, no! A hill… Sweetie felt as though his little paws where going to fall off as it was. He sat down for a little while, resting his paws and watching as first the gradient one, what was his name? Tequila Sunset wasn’t it? Climbed up the hill quickly and then purple one with rainbow stripes, called Song slowly started to follow. He liked Song, she was nice to him. Tequila was OK but much too energetic for him, he could never keep up

13. Tequila lay down at the top of the hill, panting ever so slightly. He wished Song would hurry up and get to the top of the hill, the view from here was truly amazing. At least this way he had time to completely get his breath back before Song got here. Wouldn’t want her thinking he was at all unfit, now would he?
Still, he was bored and called down to her “Hurry up slowtails!”

14. Song heard him call and debated with her self for a second or two about pretending to slip so she ended up right back at the bottom again. But if she did that, she would have to climb the bit she had done all over again. Tequila would probably laugh at her again. She hated it when he laughed at her when she did something stupid, she never found it funny, so why should he? Some grass tickled her rainbow circled nose and she sneezed. Might as well speed up a bit now…

15. Sweetie Pie was bored of waiting for Song to get up the hill now. He felt like trying to see if he could beat her up there. But he felt a bit too shy to reveal himself to them and show he had been following them. They might be angry with him for doing that. He stepped out the shadows all the same. He had been hiding in the leaf litter and was still covered in dead leaves. Yuk
