Tequila x Song- Normal

16. Tequila rolled in the grass, showing song that he wasn’t really bothered how long she took. Or, at least he hoped that’s what it looked like. He was sure a snail could beat song in a race up the hill. He was just about to yell that down to Song when he glanced beyond her and saw something oddly shaped and green and pink leap out the shadows. It seemed to be heading towards Song! He shouted a warning down to her.

17. If any one else had shouted down to her, “Run Song, theres a monster!” She would probably just laugh it off and ignored them. Tequila was rubbish at lying though and she would have been able to tell if he was lying. She looked round behind her and saw something weird that was a mixture of green and pink. She only glimpsed it before letting out a yelp and shooting straight up the hill. She went much faster then she had at any other time that day, fear lending her strength.

18. Sweetie Pie had looked round wildly too see where the monster was, and had only realized that Tequila meant him when he had seen Song look at him, yelp in fear and run away. Poor Sweetie Pie felt very upset at their reactions, not realizing that the leaf litter which he had just shaken off made him look any different to usual. He thought they where just trying to be mean to him for some reason. All the same, he ran to the hill and started to climb up, desperate to follow his only way of getting home.

19. As soon as Song joined him, Tequila whipped around and shot off, though making sure he was going slowly enough to keep up with the slightly speedier then usual, Song. He glanced behind, desperate to just shoot off as fast as he could and leave Song behind, though his loyalty to her would never allow it, and they he couldn’t see the monster, he kept on running. They where at the place he had wanted to bring Song now, but running was more important then admiring the scenery.

20. Song’s breathing was ragged, but there was no way she was going to let herself stop any time soon. Even though her body was crying out for a rest… She could feel she had a stitch now but just kept on going, terrified that if she slowed for just a second, the monster would eat her. She did manage to register Tequilas presence beside her though and was glad of it. She would have hated to have been left behind now, more then ever before.

21. Sweetie Pie found the hill very hard going, and his slow progress only added to his misery. How could he possibly keep up with them when they where so far ahead and going so much faster then him? His little warn out legs just couldn’t keep up with them. But how was he going to find his way home from here without them? He finally reached the top of the hill and turned to see if he could tell which way to go but he just had no idea. So, dejectedly he started off after the two volpes who he thought now hated him.

22. They rounded a corner, Tequila almost slipping over as he went round it and pelted up a small alley way between two loads of rose bushes. Suddenly they came out onto a clearing and instead of running across it (in fear that the monster might spot them) they cut across it and wriggled desperately under a hedge. Then they dodged under another one and ran through a small wood, branches and undergrowth whipping their faces. After they burst out the wood, even Tequila found that he couldn’t run any more and so he walked as fast as he could mange over to a large bush and squeezed himself under it.

23. If it hadn’t been for the pain in her chest and sides, it would have all seemed like a dream. They where in such and odd place that the trees and rose bushes flashing past them seemed surreal and as though they where not truly there. The trees they ran through defiantly where there, and she came out the other side of the wood with her face and sides smarting. She was quite a way behind Tequila by then and very glad to see him walking. She could barely walk herself and half dragged herself alongside Tequila to hide with him under the large bush.

24. Sweetie Pie tried following their trail, but they had been moving very fast and he wasn’t much a tracker. He ended up hopelessly lost and with no idea what to do. After wondering around for a while he past by a bush that seemed to be breathing heavily. He stopped. A hedge that was breathing? Timidly he walked towards it and said “Hello? Tequila, Song, its me, Sweetie Pie, please don’t run away from me again!”

25 Tequila heard song let out a gasp and he realized that it must have been Sweetie Pise that they had ran away from. He had no idea why he was here but could tell by the tremble in Sweetie Pies voice that he was really upset about it. He scrambled out from under the hedge and said, rather embarrassedly “Im so Sorry Sweetie Pie, I thought you where a scary monster come to get us. I wouldn’t have run away if I had seen it was you.”
