Do you like wolves? How about dragonflies? Both mixed together? Well, if you do, come over to Wolfonfly Lake, the only place in the world where these unique creatures live, breed, and are kept as pets. People flock from all over the world to the lake in order to own one or two or a hundred of these special creatures, there's really no limit on how many you can keep. Looking for completely unique wolfonflies? No problem, all you have to do is breed a pair, or perhaps get some special wolfonfly pets or items to add to them.
Are you a collector? Well, there's over 500 different wolfonflies currently available, with more being added each and every week. And the best thing about them? Most are available all the time, while others rotate, with each being available again eventually. Only a very few truly disappear from the shop forever once they leave it, and most people who get them always adopt a few more to trade, so there's a good chance you can collect those as well.
Most wolfonflies are adopted as eggs. You feed them with clicks, and at every ten clicks, they change stage. Something unique to the wolfonflies is that once they are adults, most shed their skin every ten clicks, to reveal a totally different fur colour underneath than they had before! Don't want your wolfonfly to change? No problem, just freeze them and they'll stop changing. You can unfreeze them at any time too if you want to let them continue growing and changing.
Wolfonfly Lake is a very new site, only being created around the end of July 2010, so that means that even though there's plenty to do now, there's still so much more waiting to be added. There's always something new being added, and new adventures to be had.
Don't know how to do something? Though it is still in its very early stage, the Guide explains each and every aspect of WL in detail, giving plenty of hints and tips to anyone who reads it. It explains how the Pound works, breeding, the difference between lucid and recurring wolfonflies, mutuals, epics, and much, much more, and since the site is still in its early stages, all suggestions are considered, and will likely be implemented. You have a chance to make this site great.
