Now, there probably aren't too many sites around that have currency, so its probably quite new for you. It isn't? Good for you. If its not, and you're staring at this stuff in my sidebar, I'll lend you a helping hand.
Now, the currency of the site is Qil. Its pronounced like 'Kill' but that’s as far as the relations go. Qil is spelled the same even if plural, just a little note. How do you get this 'Qil' stuff? By posting! Wait, wait, don't just go off and post random stuff, you'll get banned that way. Besides, the chatting boards and the likes won't add to your post count. What will? Try the role-play boards. All of the role-play boards will give you Qil, but no spamming!
Okay, so you go out and role-play. Every post you make adds 1 to both your post and Qil count.
Qil will be the prime currency, as it can be gained faster. Coins, not so much.
Oh, what about this 'coins' stuff? Well, that-s a higher status of Qil. Every 10 posts you make adds 1 to your Coin count. Also, Karma can give you coins, 1 per karma point you have. You can give someone karma by clicking their name and accessing their mini profile. Exalt will add 1, and Smite will take away 1. Don't abuse this! If I catch -anyone- seeming to constantly smite someone because they 'have too many' or 'you don't like them' I'll have to put a warning on you and refund their coins. Same goes for constant exalting too, beggars beware. If this system is abused just too much, I'll have to take it away. And everyone will have to lose what they had from their Karma.
Warnings aside, coins are used for breeding, custom purchases, ect. You can transfer you Qil to coins, but not the other way around. Qil are used more then Coins, and if coins could be transferred to Qil, having Coins would be like having a small bank account, as when Qil goes down, coins don't. Qil and coins can both be used for pricing items, Volpes, and the likes, for those of you who like to sell things. The Bank does transfers from user to user with both Coins and Qil.
