Rainbow Kage and Rasgos Return

16. Rasgos could see his plan was working, Rainbow Kage was slowing down, even if she was still going at quite a pace. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do once she had slowed down enough for him to catch her easily, but it probably involved a lot of play fighting. He loved play fighting, it would be fun to see if Rainbow Kage did as well. He hoped she did, he wouldn’t want to upset her by finding out she hated it part way through him nibbling her tail or something.

17. Rainbow Kages’s breath was coming out labored and ragged now; she had been running at full pelt for several minutes and was starting to feel the strain. She felt, but could not help it, as her paw steps started to sound less often and as her speed creeped lower and lower.
Rasgos had now abandoned his cut off tactic and was running behind her. His closeness gave her the added incentive to run a little faster, using a new found source of energy. It didn’t last long though and he started to catch up even more…

18. When he had deemed the time to be right, Rasgos had change tack, running after her. He was actually quite a good runner himself and probably could have beaten Rainbow Kage in a sprint, but he was bad at running at speed for a long time like Rainbow Kage had been doing. Just a few more seconds and he would now be able to grab her, or leap on her or nock out her paws from under her, he wasn’t sure which yet…

19. Rainbow Kage had a plan, just as she could hear Rasgos’s paw steps behind her, she swung round, and catching him on the side, leapt on him and knocked him over for the third time today. Their combined momentum was a lot larger then it had been the other two times though, and together they rolled bumpily before coming to a stop with Rainbow Kage breathlessly pinning down a rather stunned, stripy Rasgos.

20. Well that had gone to plan. He hadn’t been able to avoid her sudden attack and had found himself, once again, falling over. Wow, they were really making a habit of this… They finally came to a standstill and he blinked up blearily to see a grinning Rainbow Kage, breathless but triumphant as she pinned him to the ground by his chest.
The sight, and the thought of how wrong his attack had gone made him burst out laughing. Rainbow Kage, realizing it was hard to breath with another’s weight on your ribcage, removed her paws, and Rasgos, still laughing, seized the chance to attack, knocking her sidewise this time and catching her right ear gently in his mouth.

21. The trickster! As soon as her weight was off him, he leapt and knocked her over. Well, it was about time he did that to her rather then the other way round. For once!
He grabbed her ear and pretended to savage it, his teeth barely clutching it. Rainbow Kage quickly pulled her ear out of his careful grip and nipped with her rainbow muzzle at his, and then she caught one of his own ears in her mouth, worrying, slightly harder then her had done to her, but still not very hard.

22. Someone nipping at your face might not normally be considered a good thing, but it was to Rasgos. That meant she wanted to play fight as well. If she had tried to purposefully bite him hard or had have growled, that would have been a bad thing, but this wasn’t.
When she got hold oh his ear, he leant over, as much as her grip would easily allow, and grabbed one of her front paws and pulled it from underneath her, making her collapse sideways and release his ear.

23. urgh, pulled over… She tried to get up, but after so much running she found she just didn’t have the energy to shift Rasgos weight, which was now squashing her to the ground. She could move her head though and she managed to lean forward and grab a lump of loose-ish fur and skin on his chest. Worrying this might hurt him though, so she let go and started squirming about and lightly biting different parts of him in the hope this would make him let go.

24. Despite the fact she was now about as easy to keep pinned down as a slippery eel covered in soap, and that her sharp little teeth kept nipping his gently all over (Because even play fighting could get pretty rough), he managed to keep her were she was. Eventually she stopped wiggling and lay still, completely worn out. Only then did he let her get up, a cheeky smile on his face.

25. Typical! She had wasted all that energy trying to escape, only for him to let her up as soon as she stopped struggling. All the same, she felt too tired out to get up now, instead she rolled onto her side, giggling to herself about how much fun it had been.
A slightly tried (but not nearly as much as Rainbow Kage!) flopped down beside herm still grinning. There had been no tears this time round, she noted with a smile before giving Rasgis a quick like on the rainbow, tear like marking o his cheek.
