Field Day

[Uso]

Though the sky was filled with dark clouds, all threatening to rain down on the lush green grass below, Uso and her Graevia, Bird, were sitting out under a nice willow tree. There wasn't much for them to do today, anyway, so it wouldn't have hurt to be out here, even though neither of them were all that sure of their fate with the rain. Hopefully it wouldn't end up getitng all too bad, though, as the two didn't really want to go back into the dens. It was dark and cold in there right now, and Uso sadly had no candles on her, which made everything even worse. Perhaps they would find wood later on.

Under a cloudy sky Stormwing limped slowly towards the pair. He jad been curious to see who was out here with him with a storm threatening to break over head. Stormwing was sure it was leading up to a storm, you didint survive long as a griffen if you couldent work out wether or not it was going to rain or storm. He remmebred the resent storm he had got cought up in, his life mate had almost died that day. And he had as well.

And then there was that other type of stomr...the thought of thats days events still made him wince, even if the injuries he had sustained hadent. He bore the scars of the events that had been his foult. All his fault. And Magyks. There were the emotional ones of couse, and the much more obvious physical ones. He was still covered in jagged wounds and bare pathes of skin that neitehr feather or fur had grown over. He new he was a very sorry site, with most of his proud plummedge was missing from the fit, his pelt dusty from lack of care.

He hadent retunred to Ryuu'd den since then, too ashamed of what he had done to her, and his own doughter in his anger. He hoped Sukai's injuries were healing faster then his. They shoudl do with that speciel ointment Ryuu had. No more for him though. Not yet anyway.

Since there really wasn't all that much going on, it was fairly easy for Bird to hear something coming towards him and his human. He wasn't too afraid, though. No, not even of a Griffon was he afraid. His human, though, hadn't seen many Griffons before in her life. Many hybrids with them being a parent, but never a purebred... surely not a purebred with wings. He knew that there was nothing to worry about, even with his human zoning out a few feet away from him.

The Graevia looked at the Volpe as he came into a better view. He was injured. That wasn't good. Perhaps his human would be able to help? No, this Griffon was alone. Why on earth would he not be with his human? Did he leave his human alone, or did his human just allow him to wander off alone? Perhaps he was suppose to be in the breeding gardens, and just got lost? No matter the reason, he was hurt, and Bird's human hadn't yet noticed the beast. Whatever he had in mind to do, he probably should figure it out right now, or else the creature may hurt himself even worse!

After a moment, Bird let out a loud nicker, hoping to gain attention from the Volpe. He wasn't too sure if it was loud enough or anything, but hopefully it was. He wouldn't allow this creature to get any more hurt, especially when there was a chance for him or his human to fix it all.

He could see the two figures more clearly now. One was a human, though not Ryuu, thank Feather. The other was a large one of those ...greavas, griveaths...or something like. It was the only one out of the two that had seemed to notice him.
He stopped walking, wondering if he should draw any nearer. He must be a scary sight but he just wanted some company. Prehaps they didnt know a storm was approching either. He best warn them.
Still, he hung back, unsure of himself. Then he heard a faint noise, one that came from the four legged creature. Was it warning him to get away? Or prehaps inviting him over? It didnt sound a very threatning noise so he edged slowly closer.

[Uso]

Bird tilted his head a little at the Griffon Volpe. He wasn't all too sure as to what he was suppose to do with this creature. He didn't look all too dangerous, at least since he was limping, so getting away from him probably wasn't going to be at all hard if something bad happened. Of course, he didn't really plan on allowing this beast to hurt him or his human. Heavens only knew what would happen to Bird if he were to let something happen to Uso... Broken would have been mercilous. That surely wasn't something he wanted to play with.

The Graevia flicked his tail a little as the creature came a little closer. He wasn't comfortable, but he still didn't think that the Griffon was going to harm him. He let out another short nicker, hoping to find out what had happened. He wasn't too sure if there would be a point in him finding out, though, with Uso being in her own world.

He siddled a little closer, eyes to the ground, shifting from paw to claw. This wasnt like him at all. He used to a houghty and bold creature. Oh how the mighty had fallen! Look at hi now, shy and misurable.
He glanced up at the secound nicker, his deep purple eyes anxious and unhappy. He made a strange sound, somwhere between a chicken clucking and the click you tongue makes when it hits the roof of your mouth. He made this odd 'clock clock' noise everynow and then as he grew closer.

Bird blinked at the beast, then turned to nudge at Uso, who instantly looked up to see the Griffon. Wow, what a creature this was! She had never seen a winged Griffon before, so it was more than just a sight; it was an amazing thing all together.

Now both human and Graevia were looking at this creature as he clicked his tongue. Uso really had no idea what she was suppose to do for this creature, since she had no idea where he had even come from. She looked up at Bird, then back to the creature that was coming closer and closer.
"Hello there," Uso whispered as Bird looked on at the feathered creature.

He shuffled closer, and closer, almost walking sideways in his unease.
Then the human figure finally noticed him. He wanted to freeze, pretend he wanst there and hope the human wouldent see him. But thatw as a stupid thought, even if it was an overcast day he was in plain sight, light blue against dark green grass that rippled with ever increasing gusts of wind.
He forced hismelf to keep moving, getting closer and closer to teh strangers. The wind snatched away Uso's welcome but he saw her lips move. She didnt seem to be dangerous...
The wind blew through his bedraggled fur and feathers, cousing a couple of the smaller feathers came loose and flew lightly through teh air tewards the human.

Bird flicked his tail a little. He really had no idea as to what was going on right now, though he wasn't too sure if it even mattered. Surely he should have thought of something, but given the fact that he knew nothing about Griffons, especially not ones with wings, he was unsure what was actually going to happen. At least today was a fine day to run from something with feathers... in case it rained.

As for Uso, though, she was more fascinated by the creature rather than worried.
"It's okay," she said, holding out her hand a little. She hoped that the feathered creature wasn't going to take her hand off or anything, but he was hurt. Maybe she could help him, or at least find someone who could. She would feel aweful if she were to leave this creature alone while he was injured.

His wide purple eyes fixed themselves on Uso's hand. His was quite an intimisating stare but he ment nothing by it, he was just wondering if he should go any nearer. He knew from watching Ryuu that this odd habit of extending one of their front limbs was a sign of welcome to a volpe, she was allowing him to come over and check out her scent. How dog like, he thought grumpily.
All the same he edged over and touched the top of his beak under her hand.

Uso, being as interested in the creature as she was, took notice in how uncomfortable he was. Of course, it wasn't like he could do anything else, even if he really wanted to. She didn't want to make him feel any worse, though. Hopefully she wouldn't do so while they were trying to figure out why he was out here all alone. There was never a reason for a Volpe to be without his human, and this griffon surely wasn't any different than any other Volpe. Did he get lost, or was this injury really what was keeping him so far away?
"It's okay," Uso told him as his beak touched her hand. It made her almost giddy that he was okay enough with her to do that. "Where did you come from?"

Where did he come from? He moved his beak away slightly from her hand, but not the rest of his body.
He seemed to think carefully about the question before shirruping quietly "Crystal Cavern."
At least, he thought that was the answer to the question becouse in truth he diditn actually know where he came from proginally. He had no idea who his parents where or where he was laid. Crystal cavren was where he hatched though.
