Never.
For the record, the word "uso" means "lie." Uso has a back-story to her name. This is not her birth name. In fact, she's forgotten the name dear Hikaru had given her.

Due to the fact that I simply despise anime and fangirls who focus their fandom around anime music and not the real kings of the J-music world... I'm here to turn people onto real Japanese music. None of that junk from anime. Sorry Asian Kung-fu Generation, but you can do better than Naruto, and you have.
Please keep in mind that the bands may have played in more than what I've shown. I don't follow the anime train.
Seizure Warning!
Some of these music videos are seizure enducing. Please be careful!
Now, everyone, please swoon over the amazing Michiyuki and Masayuki!
Boom Boom Satellites; Back on my Feet and Intergalactic
Boom Boom Satellites' music was used on the anime Appleseed
Scatterin' Monkey and 4 a Moment of Silence could also be heard (for just a few moments) on The Dark Knight. They do have some fine club-scene music, after all.
Next up, the godly voice of Masafumi and his companions!
Asian Kung-fu Generation; Kimi to Iu Hana
AKFG have played for both Full Metal Alchemist and Naruto
Now, let's deal with ten years of Motsu's pure insanity and Yuri's beauty!
M.O.V.E; Genesis of Aquarion
M.O.V.E's music can be heard on... uhhh... Huh. I don't remember. XD But they were in some anime.
Ah, Van and Ryo. I still miss you. Disbanded in '05, but still loved.
Do as Infinity; Oasis
Do as Inifity's Fukai Mori can be heard on InuYasha.
From Malice Mizer to Freaking GODLY, we have this studmuffin.
Gackt; Mizerable
If I remember correctly, Gackt has played for Death Note and various other things I can't remember.
Admittedly, I quite like their anime music, but there's so much more to these guys!
UVERworld; Colors of the Heart
UVERworld have played for Bleach.
Okay, so she's not played for an anime, but something just as bad!
Utada; Passion
Utada's Simple and Clean was on Kingdom Hearts.
Disbanded quite a while ago, but all of the members still rein supreme in my book. Rock on Hideki, even if I hate Detrox! Betcha you're still getting mocked by the members of Hey, Hey, Hey, right?
Siam Shade; Setsunasa Yorimo Tooku e
Siam Shade's 1/3 no Junjou Na Kanjou was used as an ending theme on Rurouni Kenshin
Oh, dear God, Ryo. Your voice is so GODLY! I ban you from ever talking again! Unless it's to me!
Orange Range; Hana
Orange Range has played for Bleach, Fantastic Four, and something else.
Though most of their music is in English, that doesn't make them a crumby Japanese band. In fact, they're rather good.... Jeez, you people are weird.
Beat Crusaders; Firestarter
I think Beat Crusaders have played for both Beck and Bleach. And, ya know. Kappa Mikey.
No, you never get to see their faces unless you see them live.
I never really followed these guys, but I've never counted them out!... But I do, however, follow their lead singer... HYDE. Makes one sexy vampire, yes he does.
L'Arc-en-Ciel

L'Arc-en-Ciel
L'Arc-en-Ciel played for Full Metal Alchemist.
Non Anime Bands
Or I just dunno if they've played for anime
Twenty years of these boys? Yes please.
Janne Da Arc; Black Jack
Please ignore that annoying jingle that was added to the beginning. XP
This girl had to take a three year hiatus due to health, but who can't love this voice?!
Onitsuki Chihiro; Infection
Yes. Some stupid anime fanchick (no, she doesn't get to be a fangirl) decided to judge poor Asian Kung-Fu Generation on the song they played for Naruto, while assuming that she spoke Japanese with the ten words she knew, which were randomly placed in her sentences. I do not claim to speak Japanese after only taking a single class, but I do think people should show some respect to the Japanese language and culture.
To put it simply, American fangirls put a bad name on the Japanese. It's ridiculas. Not just about the music, but everything in general, with cosplay and fandom. Now, I refuse to allow anyone to judge something off of one thing. Not only is it not fair, but it's plain rude. >.< Of course, then my instant judgement of them is a horrid curse word that I shant say, purely because I wish to respect those here. You've done nothing to me, so my respect shall hold.
This doesn't mean that I won't freaking nom you if you go all kawaii-corner on me. I don't like it, I can't stand it. I love the Japanese language, music, culture. I'm even interested in the old torture and traditions. Ever played Fatal Frame? Yes, my loves. Those rituals are based off real ones, from what I know. I don't study it religiously, as I'd probably break down and cry. It'd be like learning about the Holocaust. Just can't do it for longer than a few minutes without your heart sinking.
So, to end my rant, do not go kawaii-corner on someone who actually has Japanese friends, and actually wishes to take her own money and pay for classes in Japanese so she could potentially be a translator, or at least go to Japan without making a fool of myself, which is what most fangirls would do.
Honestly, show some respect to others. No matter their culture or language. You're the only one who looks to be a fool. And you'd get a taste of my wrath. My wrath does not taste good.
Mind you, Ryo verbally spanked this chick. He, being Japanese, takes full pride in who he is. This girl thought it was wise to argue with him about the Japanese language. She said "tsubasa" means tiger. No. Tsubasa is wing. Tora is tiger. How stupid can you be, to argue with a Japanese man over the meaning of a Japanese word? It makes no sense whatsoever. At least he felt better about it, once she slinked away behind her "friends."
Bring it on down I'm
Starting to like this
I gotta go now
I gotta go
Totally wired
We're connected
All in the right place
All in the right place
