Starheart laughed as she said, "They're simply delightful, those two. Brother and sister, if I remember right; made warriors at the same time, and they were given the name '-pool' because they had found a new drinking pool when their old pack's drinking pool was poisoned." Here, she stretched out her wings and smiled. "It's so good to have others joining the pack. It's not like they had a choice, though; not many have dared to start a rival pack yet."

Nightfeather nodded as he said, "Yep, that's the same that I heard from them. Darkheart just says that they're phonies and don't really know how to tell when waters are poisoned, but they do, actually. But, then again, Darkheart's just a pessimist."

"Who cares about Darkheart? That guy just annoys me." Starheart said, shaking her head. "Thinking he can do away with Rainstar and Bravestar... he'd be a perfect match with Ashclaw, though; wanna' bet those two have found a common chord with each other already?" she asked, laughing.

That would just be funny, if Ashclaw and Darkheart ended up together--funny, yet scary.

"You'd best watch what you wish for, Starheart. I've heard that Ashclaw likes him quite a bit, and that they're planning to start a pack of their own, along with Bloodstrike. However, they'd be a true pack of rogues, not conforming to the idea that the leader must have the '-star' title." Nightfeather said, shaking his head as he curled his tail around his hind paws and placed one of his front paws on Starheart's.

"But then we'd be rid of them~" Starheart said, followed by, "...but then, we'd have the beginnings of a very powerful rival pack. But that should be fun nonetheless. I mean, then I'd have a reason to get Fire to teach me commands like 'bite'. Not that I don't do that already..."

Here, she laughed, lowering her head so that it rested on hers and Nightfeather's paws.

Nightfeather smiled as he said, "Well, we won't have to worry too much longer about them causing troubles within the pack... but I think that Bloodstrike is planning a mutiny against Clawfoot. He's some relation to her, I think; however, he doesn't live in her vein of ideals, if you know what I mean."

Here, he shuddered. The thought of the female Bloodwar trying to start a war with an enemy pack--or, tribe--was a scarier thought than Ashclaw, Darkheart, and Bloodstrike starting their own pack.

"I suppose that's good that he's not in the same vein as Bloodstrike--Silverheart has fallen completely head-over-heels for him, she has." Starheart said, laughing quietly. "And Mudtail adores him, too; however, he's definitely gone more for Silverheart." She shook her head; it was most definitely spring. Almost every Volpe she knew was falling in love with some other Volpe from the Sanctuary.

"Ah, yes, Sivlerheart. And Leopardstorm has fallen for Bramblepool. And then there's Leafheart and Brackenheart"--here, Nightfeather shuddered; those were the two Of Hearts Royals that lived with them, and they were always together--"and, lastly, Sandpool and good ol' Oakstar. Oakstar certainly has his paws full, keeping up with Sandpool and catching up with his two former deputies." He said thoughtfully.

Starheart laughed as she said, "You forgot about a pair, Nightfeather~ and I don't mean Rainstar and Bravestar. We all knew about them." She smiled as she nuzzled him affectionately as she said, "If this whole falling-in-love thing is part of spring fever, I think we've got it really bad."

She licked his cheek affectionately after saying this. "Just imagine the little sweethearts that we'll be coming home with soon~"

Nightfeather laughed as he said, "That's right--soon, we'll have pups of our own, my darling." He smiled as he licked her face gently. "I wonder how they'll get along with Rainstar and Bravestar's pups--I believe I heard the names Winterstorm and Sandfeather for them." He said, a tiny smile tugging at his maw. "And then... then shall come the influx of pups from the rest of the Sanctuary."
