Wave x Swirl

[Sakora]

"Are you alright?" Swirl asked as she jumped to the next highest tree branch.
"I'm fine. Just let me know when we are there." Wave called back and he got up and tried to get back into the tree.
How could he be the king of a place in the trees, yet not be able to climb one? It wasn't fair.
Wave wanted to cheat and just fly up there but he doubt his wings could hold him that long.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Swirl asked again. He looked frusterated to her.

[Sakora]

"I told you I'm fine."
Swirl snorted. Wave never wanted help from anyone, not even her. She hopped down to the first branch, which was where Wave had 2 paws on and hanging with the rest of his body dangling.
"Come on. It isn't far."
Swirl helped him so that he was standing on the first branch.
"I did it!" Wave told her.
"Yes, I know. But, there are more." She replied as she looked up. When Wave followed her gaze, his ears suddenly flatten.

[Sakora]

"What is wrong this time?" She asked. Swirl didn't think Wave was afraid of heights. He lived in a tree house a far distance away from the ground. If he was scared, then he must have been scared this whole time! Swirl just couldn't live with that.
"Are you scared?"
She had to make sure she knew why he was making this so hard. All she wanted to do was show him the collection she had stashed away in the tree.
"Well yeah I'm scared. I can't climb that well. What will I do then?" He answered.
"Good." Swirl mumbled. "He isn't afraid of heights, he just doesn't trust his climbing abilities."

[Sakora]

"Hey Swirl." Wave called out. He didn't want to climb this tree at all.
"Yes?" She replied in soothing voice. Her mood changed as easliy as swirls could be changed.
"Can you, just bring the item down? I'm not that great at climbing." Wave replied as he jumped down onto the ground where his feet belonged.
"Sure." Swirl replied as she continued up the tree. When she got near the top, she poked her nose into a small hole and picked up a small box with her mouth. Then, she came right back down to Wave and the ground.

[Sakora]

"What is it?" Wave asked. Swirl winked and dropped the box down in front of Wave's feet.
"It's for you, your magesty." Swirl replied. She hopped that Wave would like it. It took her a very long time to find it, and it was hard to find such a rare object.
"Er, thanks." Wave replied as she carefully tore the ribbon off of the box. He didn't like it when Swirl called him magesty. She was just as high in the rankings as he was.

[Sakora]

Wave gasped when he saw what was inside. It was a piece of plastic with pressed flowers and ribbon decorated around it. Wave couldn't believe that Swirl had made all of this by herself.
"Do you think it?" Swirl asked.
Wave nodded, but didn't say anything as she picked it up with his mouth.
Swirl frowned. Wave didn't look like he liked it at all. He was staring at it too much. Did she really do that great of a job, or was he horrified because he didn't like it?

"I don't like it actually." He replied.
Swirl put her head down. It was true, Wave didn't like it. She sighed and sat up. Wave chuckled a little.
"I love it." He added. Swirl looked up at him and smiled. He did like it, more than she thought he did.
Wave licked Swirl lightly on the cheek.
"Thank you so much."
