He flapped his own in joy then an idea came to him "Want to go for a fly?" he asked eagerly "None of those dog volpes can keep up, ive always got to slow down for them and lots of them cant fly properly at all. I bet we could fly fast together". He loved flying but waiting for others to catch up with him was always so boring. He lied being able to show off with his supiereir flying skills but he had always longed for someone who would be able to keep up with him.

Gaia took a step forwards and flared her wings out to their full length, an excited look on her face. "I would love to." She said happily. "You have no idea how much I've wanted company flying. My owner mostly keeps K9 Volpes, and they can't fly at all. She gave a sly look suddenly and poked him gently with one talon. "Air tag, you're it!" She called out as she flapped her wings and took off from a standstill. She circled over him once, giving him time to get in the air.

Yes, She wanted to fly,what fun!
He let out a mock growl as she tagged him and launched himself into the air after her. She was very fast he realised. Perfect. there would be no need to slow down so he dident catch her straight away and he wouldent have to pretend to be slow when she was trying to catch him either. This was achance for him to fly to his limits.

[Wolf]

She let out a screech of pure happiness, sounding more like a bird of prey than the griffen volpe that she was as she swooped and dived through the air. It was wonderful being up here with Stormwing, so wonderful in fact that she forgot about the game that she had started and began to do all sorts of aerial tricks instead. Backflips and rolls and flying upsidown, this was the most fun she had ever had!

Of course, doing all these tricks caused her to slow down. She would be easy to catch now if Stormwing wanted to tag her.

He saw what she was doing and couldent help letting out a "kkkkiiiiaaaa!" Sound. It was one that told of his happiness and how impressed he was though to a none griffen it would have probably ment nothing. He had went to catch her but at seeing her aerial display he couldent help doing simuler, flying round and round as she backflipped, close enough that they brushed wings but skillfully enough that he dodged every movement perfectly so they never crashed.

Gaia noticed him right away, and cherished each wing brush. She had never felt the feathers of a griffin volpe before except for her own. His wings were surprisingly soft and gently feeling against her own, and she could tell that he was enjoying himself as well. How graceful and skillful he was at flying! As good as or perhaps even better than herself. It seemed to her that this only meant one thing, that she had met her one true mate, who was her match at everything. Of course, she wasn't sure yet if Stormwing wanted to be mates, or if he would simply breed with her once and then be gone forever, leaving her nothing more of himself than her half of the chicks. The thought made her sad, but she tried not to let it show.

Stormwing basked in the glury of her beauty. His heart was filled with joy at every glimps of her as they twirled in their aerial dance. So resently he had thought he was all alone but now he couldent imagine ever wanting one of those dog volpes to be his mate, not that he actually had of course. They were nothing, nothing compared to one of his own. Who else could fly with him like this, who else was as beautifull and perfect as her? No one.

(Looks like we have discoverd somthing new about Griffins- one of the reasons they dislike breeding with other volpes is becouse their courtship involves an aerial dance like this which other types cant achieve
