Okay, what else could Oshi do to make the Volpe stay put? "Sit," she said, getting Broken to do as he was told. "Stay." She dropped a treat, but kept tossing some over to him as she walked away. Perhaps thinking that he didn't need to be right in front of the human to get a treat would end up working. Soon, though, Oshi stopped tossing the treats, repeating the word "stay," but the treats stopped coming, so the Volpe moved back to the girl.

Oshi crossed her arms, trying to make herself seem larger than what she really was. Fear wasn't a good thing, but what else could she do? "Broken, sit!" she commanded. The Volpe did do as he was told, but wasn't entirely sure if he would enjoy the idea of being stuck "staying" where he had been told. "Stay." She walked away, continuing her former method of tossing treats. He stayed for a while after they stopped coming, though, but he still came back to the human.

Oshi scratched at Broken's ear lightly, even though he hadn't quite gotten it. "Sit, Broken," she said, then watched the brute do so. "Now... stay!" She backed away, this time not bothing to toss any treats. She felt like he was sort of getting it, so... there wasn't any reason to force him. She waited for a while, about thirty seconds, before trotting back over to Broken and praising him, a warm smile on her face.

Alright, so next on the list would have to be to teach Broken how to come when he was told... this would should be pretty easy! "Broken, sit!" she said, then quietly watched the Volpe as he placed his butt into the grass. "Stay..." She started walking backwords till she was a few yards away. "Now, come!" The Volpe flicked his ear, obviously still stuck on being told to "stay."

Oshi sighed lightly, then pulled out a treat, hoping that may get Broken's attention. "Broken, come!" The Volpe stood up, but didn't seem all that interesting in doing as he was told. It wasn't too much of a problem, really, but she would have to figure something out. Slowly, the human waved the treat around. "Broken, come!" It didn't seem as if the Volpe was all that interested at all.

Why would Broken not come, even for a treat? With a sigh, Oshi tossed the treat about midway between them, and told him yet again to "come." At first, Broken just sat there for a moment, but slowly picked up his paws and moved over to the treat, eating it, then continued his way over to Oshi Uso. "Good, Broken." Oshi said, scratching at his ear in praise. This may actually be a little difficult.

Maybe she'd be able to figure it out, though... "Alright, sit," Oshi said, waiting for Broken to do as he was told. It took a moment, but he soon did sit, with a short sigh. "Stay." With that, Oshi continued off on her own way. "Come," she finally said when she stopped. That didn't seem to work. With a sigh, Oshi pulled out a treat. "Broken, come." This time, the Volpe trotted over to her without too much of a problem.

Once Broken had finished his treat, Oshi repeated herself. "Sit." Broken sat, this time seeming to be a little more interested. "Stay." The human trotted off another couple yards away. She waited for a moment, so Broken may forget that he had been told to stay, then spoke. "Come!" she called. Broken refused, since there was no treat involved. Soon, though, Oshi pulled out the treat and repeated herself. "Come." Broken came over to her to get a treat and a pat on the head.

At least he sort of got it, right? "Sit," Oshi told him. "Stay..." And off she went. Hopefully he would know when he was actually suppose to come, instead of getting himself into trouble. "Come!" Oshi called. At first, Broken didn't want to move, but after Oshi repeated herself, the Volpe stood up and padded over to her in a long lope. "Good, Broken!" the girl praised, happy to see that he seemed to understand, at least a little.

Oshi had alraedy been digging through the woods for a while, picking up as many sticks as she possibly could. Managing to find enough, she trotted back, placing bits of treats on the ends of each to ensure that Broken would be interested. "Broken, come!" Oshi called, waiting for the Volpe to come to her side. Once there, Oshi showed the treat covered stick to Broken. Almost instantly, Broken opened his jaws to pull the treat off, but quickly realzied it didn't cooperate. "Bite, Broken." Oshi said. The Volpe was already frustrated with the stick, but backed off in hopes his human would get the treat for him.

Oshi shook her head lightly, sticking the treat back in Broken's face. "Bite," she told him. After a moment, the Volpe opened his jaws again to try to pull the treat off. Sadly, the stick broke in his mouth, making him jump back and drop it. "Bite!" Oshi said, then praised him, pulling the treat off of the stick and giving it to him. "Good." At least now he would get the basic idea... maybe.

Oshi lifted up another stick, placing the treat on the end. "Alright, Broken," Oshi said, getting the brute to snap his attention onto her. "Bite." He saw the stick again, but only tilted his head. He was allowed to break this? Well, that couldn't be at all right, now could it? "Bite." The Volpe opened his jaw for the treat, then closed it around the stick. This time, though, he just dragged his teeth back, getting the treat to come off. "No, Broken." The girl sighed.

The girl rubbed her forhead a little, placing a new treat on the edge, this time making sure that it wouldn't be so simple to get off. "Bite," she told Broken, placing the stick in front of his face again. He repeated what he had done before, but found that the treat refused to budge from his spot. Yet again, he got frustrated, and bit down so the stick would snap. Still, he dropped it, thinking that it was wrong, but still got praised and was given the treat.

Oshi patted Broken a little, then continued to place a treat on another stick. Hopefully this would be easier. "Broken," she said, then the Volpe looked at her, flicking his ears. "Bite." He glanced at the stick, but had to think if he actually wanted the treat or not. Sadly, the treat won out, and he wrapped his jaws around the stick to break it, though this time he didn't drop the stick till the treat was off. "Good, Broken!"

Hopefully Broken would understand the idea. This time, though, Oshi didn't plan on putting a treat on the stick. Instead, she just held the stick out. "Bite," she told the Volpe. Though it took Broken a moment, he did indeed snap his jaws shut onto the wood, having the stick break in half. "Good, Broken!" Oshi praised, making him drop the stick and wag his tail, rather furiously.
