 Wave padded outside of his kingdom. Sure it was small, and in the middle of a forest, but it was still a kingdom, not matter how small it was. He ruled with his beloved Swirl, his mate. He ruled with his guard that lit up the place at night with his fur. He ruled the 3 trees that held houses. He ruled everything in his kingdom, and his people loved him. Yes, Wave was a good king. He walked a bit faster, and quicker to the edge of his kingdom. As soon as the 3 massive trees escaped his sight, Waves ran right to a small stream and sighed. He finally had some time off to do what he pleased. |

The sly temptruse, her she is hold your heart close or she might take it from you Or prehaps she just wants to be loved, or seeks a life companion? ................................................................................. Princess rain was on the prowl. She dident know where she was but that dient bother her much, it was just nice to get away from her cave sometimes. Yes the part of the cave she lived in was large and beautiful, fit for a queen no less but it was boring and prince Squall was boring. Ryuu was boring, sleep was boring. Everything was boring. Why couldent anything interestimg ever happen to her? |

Wave's ears pricked. He heard something approach him. He waited still and silent for the other thing to get closer. He sniffed, and he knew what it was. Another Volpe, a royal, female, a lot like Swirl.
"Another Volpe? Not one of my kingdom? What is she doing here?"
He tensed, ready to defend his kingdom.
"Who are you?" He asked in a very formal voice, even though he couldn't see the other female Volpe yet. |

She had just been wondering listlesly whether or not you could die of boredom, and been imaining Ryuu And prince Squall weeping on her death bed, crying out that they were sorry for being so amazingly boring when she heard something.Her ears pricked up too. A voice, someone interseting? She hoped so, she had had enough with being bored. Bored. Bored. Bored.
"I" she called back lightly "Am Princess rain". She made sure to put emphesis on the word Princess though really it was just a name.

Oh Princess eh? This was going to get intersting.
"Well, I'm King Wave." He called back with the same emphesis Rain put on Princess.
"And, since this is part of my kingdom, I order you to show yourself, so I can make sure you are a Volpe and you are who you say you are."
Wave waited for the other Volpe to show themselves. He wanted to see this princess, and he wanted to know where she came from and what she was doing here in his kingdom. |

King? that was interesting. squall was just a prince. She hoped kings were not as boring. "Of course im a volpe" she replied cooly "Cant you tell?"
But she did step out of the shadows anyway. She struted out like she was on a cat walk and came to stand infront of him. She sat down slowly and relaxed, to show she wasent scared of him but dipped her head down sloghtly in a sort of bow. "My king" she murmerd. Though there was amusment in her voice it was still a show of respect to some degree.

Wave rolled his eyes. "If you aren't part of my kingdom, you have no reason to treat me any different than the next Volpe you see." He remarked. Wave had learned that when he met a wild Volpe, that did have an owner, somewhere.

"I am princess of the cave of the Rushing Waters in the great Crystal cavern, prehaps the most beautiful place eveer, In my opinion anyway. Does your kingdom have any places that may change my mind?" Princess Rain asked. she wanted to see this so called kingdom of his and see if it was real. She thought it probly was though she found it hard to believe that it actaullybelonged to him. Time would tell, if he decided to showher that is. she glanced up at him, wondering what he would say.

Wave smirked. A crystal cavern? Who needed crystals when you had the stars.
"My kingdom is located high above the ground, in trees. At night the stars are so big you can almost grab them."
Wave was about to ask if she wanted to see it, but Swirl and Sakora might not approve. Well, Sakora wasn't home, but Swirl was. Oh what should he do? |

"In trees?" she snorted, she had never heard of volpes living in trees. It did sound interesting though, to be so high above the ground without having to beat your wings constently just to stay there, it wasnt something she had seen before. She suddenly burned with curiosity, desperate to see his kingdom in the sky. What would it be like to be so high up you felt as though you could touch the stars? "Could you show me?" she half asked, half begged. She hoped he would say yes.
