Sandy, Female <Shovel> Hurry up!The impatient Volpe's yips were barely audible as the waves crashed down, the salty tang drifting towards Kabuto's nose as she breathed in. Delicious. The smell of the beach was one that couldn't be beat, at least not in her opinion. She had her trainers in one hand, her bucket and spade in another and she couldn't wait to start hunting those shells! The sandy Volpe shook her head, not understanding why her owner was taking so long to reach the shore. Shaking her head, she turned her attention to the crystal blue sea, her tail wagging in anticipation. Carefully she lifted a paw and dipped it into the water, barking in surprise as the waves splashed forward, soaking her feet. She jumped back, barking accusingly at the water Sandy-1/5, 0

"You turnip!" Kabuto teased, running forward to join her Volpe's side. Sandy tried to act nonchalant, giving the water a slight glare when she thought her owner wasn't looking. Throwing an amused glance towards her pet, she turned round and began studying the beach. Fun and laughter was all very well but they had a job to do!
"This looks like a good spot." She beckoned to her Volpe, who had been studying a washed-up crab with some interest. Leaving her find alone, Sandy trotted over to where Kabuto was pointing and sniffed the sand cautiously. It seemed fine. Barking in agreement, the Volpe waited patiently as Kabuto placed her bucket and spade on the ground, ready to dig

Digging was harder work than she'd expected. It was a lot more boring than she'd expected too. Simply put the spade in, drag the spade out, check the sand for shells...But she hoped it would be worth it in the end and besides, at least she was somewhere she loved.
Sandy seemed to be enjoying it a lot more than her owner. She had grown up on the beach, so she was pretty much in her element here. Plus, she didn't need a spade for digging. She had her own four digging machines built in! Wagging her tail happily, she picked a nearby spot and began to dig their, burying her paws in enthusiastically
