Though Painted knew Private because they both lived in the same den, that didn't really mean that either of them wanted to be there. Rather, Painted didn't want to be there. Mind you, he knew that there were far worse things in the world than this, but he really just... didn't want to bother, at this point. He hated that he was going to have to talk to someone that he didn't really know, which meant that he was probably going to give himself a headache. What could he possibly do now?

Since Private could tell that Painted was a little irritated, she felt it was a better idea to just... stray away from him. Mind you, she wasn't honestly all that bothered by it, mostly because she knew that he would probably get over it eventually, even if he didn't want to. After all, it wasn't like they didn't know eachother, which was mostly why Private could tell how irritated the brute was. All she could actually do was hope that she herself wasn't the cause for him to be so agitated.

With Private staying so far away from Painted, he wondered what he was actually suppose to do. Sure, he sort of liked that she was away from him, but it didn't really make him feel any better. After all, he didn't know if she actually wanted to be near him, or if she wanted to be back home just as much as he did. It wasn't like he was going to find out, anyway, so he wasn't too sure as to why he was worried about it. If the female wanted to talk to him, then she would, wouldn't she?

Private slowly laid down under a tall tree. Since she herself didn't know what she was suppose to do, she didn't really have any reason to do anything with him at the moment. She wanted Painted to be happy, but she also knew that it was going to be a bit of a problem. Of course, if she didn't say anything to Painted, there would be zero chance of her being able to make him happy. Though, then there was always the problem that she might just make him more irritated... Oh, what to do?

Painted flicked his ear a little. It wasn't like he was doing anything wrong, was he? Private didn't have to stay all the way over there, even if he really didn't want to deal with her right now. They were still part of the same pack, even if he was a little annoyed at the moment. It wasn't because of her, after all. It was because his human left him here, when he just wanted to be home. Surely that wouldn't make her all that mad, right? Of course, what exactly did he know about females?
