Fear x Shinjiki

Fear sat quietly under a tree, looking up at the leaves above her. She was surprised to find that there weren't any birds floating around like there usually were. It wasn't like that was all that much of a problem or anything, but she was starting to feel really lonely. She expected someone to be here to spend time with her by now, and yet that just wasn't the case. Perhaps she only needed to wait a little longer. That would make her far happier, but she wasn't too sure.

Luckily for Fear, Shinjiki had just been dropped off at the gates, which weren't all that far away from the tree that Fear had been sitting under. If he didn't go down the wrong pathway or anything, this would be a very short trip, so he could meet with his companion to play. He looked down all the paths, though, then turned his nose to the air in hopes of finding the scent of who he was suppose to find. Thankfully, it didn't take too long for him to catch wind of the female.

Fear flicked her tail a little, already starting to get annoyed with the silence that was around her. She didn't think that she was going to be all that bad if she had to wait for the other Volpe to get here, but this was getting to be far too much. She hated the idea of having to constantly wait like this, but she obviously had no other choice. Hopefully it wouldn't last all that much longer, but if it did, there was absalutely no way that she was going to stay here and wait.

Shinjiki really had no idea where he was going right now. Yes, he could smell the female, but what direction she may have really been in, he wasn't entirely sure of. She couldn't have been too far away, though, since he could smell her fairly well. All he had to do was try to ignore the wind and hope that he was going the right way while he searched. Perhaps it wasn't going to be a problem, but since he wasn't all that sure yet, he would just have to keep trying.

Fear stood up and stretched out her legs. Wherever this brute may have been, she was really getting bored of waiting for him. Maybe he wasn't coming at all? Perhaps he managed to find a prettier Volpe? It wasn't like she was the only female in the gardens. At least from what she knew. It just wouldn't make sense for her to be the only one here. If she was, though, that would just be silly. The garden was huge, and this was the only place Volpes really did bond.

Shinjiki blinked, looking around one last time. After a moment, he picked a path and started down it. If he was right, he would soon run into the female he was suppose to meet with here in the gardens. Hopefully she hadn't grown bored of waiting for him or anything. He had no idea as to what he would do if that was the case. If he was right, though, then there should probably be nothing at all to worry about. Since he didn't like worrying, he did indeed hope he was right.

Fear quietly shook out her fur. She had no idea what was taking the brute so long, but since she was already annoyed, she wasn't all that sure if she should bother waiting for him any longer. She knew that he was probably looking for him, but that just couldn't be proven. All she could actually do was hope for the better, and the better wasn't always going to be the right thing. Perhaps it didn't even matter, though, but she wasn't all that sure of that right now.

Shinjiki was starting to get annoyed with himself. Did he not pick the right path? he wasn't too sure. He didn't even think that it mattered all that much. Perhaps he could easily figure something out. He poked his head through a bush to find a tree, and a sparkly female sitting under it. At least he wasn't going the wrong way. He pulled his head back out and shook his fur, hoping that he didn't look at that bad. If he was dirty, he didn't think that she would accept him.

Fear looked over at a bush as it ruffled, just to find a male sticking his head through it. She smiled as much as a Volpe could. She hadn't been left or forgotten! That was always a good thing. Maybe he would be happy to see her? She wasn't entirely sure, but she surely was hopeful. Maybe she would be able to figure something out for him? Maybe they would be able to play, or do something or another. Why was she even worrying? It wasn't like this was her first meeting!

Shinjiki really had no idea as to what he was suppose to do. He had been here before, multiple times at that, and yet he wasn't at all comfortable with what was going on. Hopefully he would be able to keep the female entertained and happy, so he wouldn't have to think that she hated him or something, but for now, he wasn't all that sure if he was going to be able to handle himself. Hopefully, though, he would figure everything out before he met up with her.

Fear stretched herself out a little again. Hopefully she would do fine. It wasn't like she was really use to how she was suppose to act here. Sure, she wanted to do well, but what would that matter? If all went well, though, maybe it wouldn't even matter? She would figure something out, or she would just let Shinjiki do most of the work. That was probably the best idea she had thought up all day, which wasn't all that great at all. She let out a long sigh.

With a light sigh, Shinjiki turned the corner to see the female. Her coat was much like his, save for the color. It made him fairly happy, though, to find that she was so close to him in some way. Perhaps that would give them something to talk about? Yes, it wasn't like that was a very good thing, but surely that was better than nothing, right? He cleared his through, hoping that it would actually help him a little. "Hello, Fear," he said, trying to smile.

Fear looked at the creature, though she wasn't really all that sure if she was actually suppose to respond back. She probably was suppose to, but that didn't really mean that she was all that comfortable with doing so. After a moment or two, though, she figured it would be a better idea to just talk to him and hope for the best, even if she was unsure if he was actually who she was suppose to be meeting with. Surely it would be obvious soon. "Hello, Shin."

Shinjiki swallowed. She was a pretty creature... her coat had more cool colors than his, with his golden sparkles covering his fur. She must have been very proud of that, right? "You look very beautiful," he said, though he wasn't all that sure if she would really take it as a compliment. He didn't see why she wouldn't, seeing as females usually liked being complimented on their looks, didn't they? He sighed sadly. What did he know about any of that?

Fear wasn't too sure what he had said. He didn't really mean that she was pretty, did he? He couldn't have. It wasn't like her coat was at all unique. There were many other Volpes who had coats like both of their's. Still, she felt like she should respond some how. "You look very handsome, yourself," she finally responded. Hopefully it wouldn't make him feel at all awekward, but she wouldn't be all that surprised if it did make him feel so. She could only hope, though.
