Gift x Other

[Uso]

Other snorted at himself. He couldn't really think that he wasn't going to be able to go off and find this female. He didn't really want to, since he didn't want any pups after his last ones, but that was just hard enough for him to deal with. Perhaps having more puppies wasn't going to be a bad thing, but he just didn't know. He would probably have to figure that out soon enough, though, since he really did plan on finding this female and geetting to know her, no matter what.

Gift shook her head, slowly lowering herself to lay down on the grass. At least all the grass here was nice and soft, despite the summer air. Perhaps this was just what she needed; a little nap. It probably wasn't going to hurt her any to go to sleep or anything, so it was probably going to be a nice idea to actually be able to relax here. It was quiet, and she didn't have to deal with anyone at all. Sure, she didn't really want to not be able to play with her pups, but this was how it went.

Perhaps now was a good time to sit down? No, he had to find this female, even if he didn't want to. Perhaps he needed to actually work a bit harder so he's actually able to do something about it. If all went well, maybe it wouldn't take him all that long to actually find her. Maybe he should think about who it may have been, too. It was probably another royal, of course, so he didn't have to worry all that much about that or anything, but what if it actually wasn't?

Gift sighed, trying to let herself fall asleep. She really had no idea what she was suppose to be doing here, at least not while she was alone. In honesty, she never had been alone in the gardens. She had always been placed with her brute right away so she didn't have to go hunting for him, but that wasn't at all the case right now. What was she suppose to do if she didn't actually get to see him? Would Uso still expect a pup from her? She didn't think so, but what if she did?

Other shook his head. There was no way that his human wouldn't would put him with anyone else besides the other lion, but what if she did? It wasn't a bad thing, at least he didn't think so, since he didn't really know a lot of the other Volpes, so it would probably be nice to get to know them... but what if it ended up being that the other breeds were actually rather... annoying? He would probably just have to hope that he was with another Royal, and go from there.

Gift really wasn't all that sure as to what she was suppose to be doing here. If anything, there probably wasn't all that much that could actually be done around here. She could look at the flowers, or she could just lay here and try to sleep. Sadly, sleeping seemed like a better thing for her to do at the moment. Maybe she should just get in a quick nap, and then move on and do something else. Sadly, she didn't think that was going to be a good idea either, but it was all she had.

Other ruffed his mane out a little. He could smell a female now, but that didn't exactally mean that he actually knew where she may have been. Surely she couldn't have been all that far away from him, but he really just wasn't all that sure. He would have to keep looking, probably even going to check under bushes and all other things, but if he couldn't find her, that would probably end up with him getting some stickers and thorns on his nose and in his lovely mane, which wasn't fun.

Gift soon walked over to a flower and sniffed at it. Since there wasn't all that much for her to do, and she surely didn't want to end up lost or anything, this was the best she could even think of. Yeah, she didn't just want to sit in this clearing and smell flowers, but that was it for now. She would have to get over that, even though she wanted to do something else. All she could hope for at the moment was for whoever she was suppose to meet to find her.

Other shook his head a little. At least he could smell the female now, but now the issue was that he had no idea where it was actually coming from. The wind wasn't helping him all that much, since… there really was none. All that meant was that he had no idea which way to go, but at least it was close. He stuck his head through one of the bushes, being more than releaved to find that it didn't have thorns on it's branches. Sadly, the female wasn't there.

Gift jumped away from her flowers, having heard something that she didn't really want to hear; ruffling of branches and leaves. It probably was nothing, but she couldn't really be all that sure of that. Perhaps she should go see? Or maybe she should just stay here and hope that it was nothing... She wasn't too sure. After a moment, she turned and slowly moved over towards the bushes and plants. "Is anyone there?" she called through the bushes.

Other lifted his head a little. It seemed that he wasn't really alone, as now he'd heard a voice. At least he could tell where it was coming from; right behind him. That was, of course, not something that he really liked, but he would just have to deal with that for now. He turned around and walked over to the bushes. "Yes," he said through it's leaves. "Who am I talking to now?" He really wasn't sure what he was suppose to do at the moment.

In honesty, Gift really wasn't sure what she was suppose to do right now. It seemed that the voice was fairly familiar, but she couldn't really put her paw on who it may have been. "Gift," she called through the bushes. "Who are you?" She wasn't entirely sure if it was even a good idea for her to ask, in case it was someone that she didn't know or didn't trust. Still, he wanted to be able to know that she was going to be just fine right now.

The brute flicked his ears a little. At least he knew the name. "Gift, the K9, right?" he asked, then waited for her to talk again. "Other, the lion." He didn't think it attered as to who they both were, but he did enjoy the thought of knowing what was going on. Perhaps it was for the better that they didn't know, but he didn't like the idea of not getting to figure out exactally what was going on right now.

Perhaps it would be a good idea for Gift to try to figure out what else she was suppose to say to this brute, if anything at all. She didn't think it mattered too much if she were to say anything at all, but she did want to make sure that he wasn't going to end up mad at her or anything for any reason, which she thought there was a pretty good chance of happening at the moment. If all went well, though, that wouldn't be the case.

Since Other really had no idea what he was doing right now, he cleared his throat. "So you are the K9," he decided out loud. "At least I know who you are." He didn't like that she had ignored him, but that obviously wasn't something that he had any form of control over, but that was actually just fine for him right now. Perhaps he'd be abel to figure out what he was suppose to do for this female before the day came to an end.
