16. Sadly, Uso knew that it probably wouldn't have been all that bad if she'd just let herself calm down a little. Of course, she wasn't at all okay with that. Maybe it would have been better if she and Spirit really did actually try to do something together? The girl stuck her hand into her pocket, digging out the rubber ball that she had brought along. That was at least something, though it probably could have been better, if she had thought it out just a little more. Then again, it also could have been a bit worse, so this was fine. 17. The human really just wasn't sure as to what she was suppose to do. It wasn't really a bad thing if Spirit wanted to be on his own. In fact, it was probably a very good thing indeeed. Since he was all capable of being and doing things on his own, it meant that he wasn't fully tamed, like most of the Volpes that Uso happened to have in her den back home. So, knowing that, she had to be at least a little happy that he was going to be willing to do his own thing, even though it meant she was all on her own. "Soredemo nandomo kimi wo sagashite." |

18. Uso slowly looked back at the Volpe again, hoping that he was doing something else. It was quite a surprise, but he had. In fact, he was halted a few yards back, staring up at the sky. He was obviously staring at a seagull, but that didn't mean that she was right. Sure, the obvious was usual, but sometimes you didn't always see everything, making what you thought to be obvious wrong. Uso walked back over to the Volpe to look at the sky, trying to see what he had found. Sadly, she ouldn't see anything different. "Sora ni nandomo ko wo egaku tobi." |

19. The girl shook her head lightly. Whatever he had managed to find, she sadly didn't get to know what it was. Sure, that was fine and all, but it wasn't really that she wanted to ignore it or anything. In fact, she much rathered getting to know exactally what he had found, if anything at all, but sadly, that wasn't the case. Perhaps that wasn't something that mattered all that much to the Volpe, but for her, she really did want to know what was going on... because that was her job to get to know, wasn't it? |

20.Uso shook her head lightly, not really sure what else she could do. Maybe it would be a good idea for them to start heading home now, or maybe she should figure something else out for them to do, so Spirit wouldn't have to stare at nothing, or things that Uso just couldn't see. In all honesty, though, it probably didn't matter at all. She really probably should have just let herself calm down and moved on with the day, since it was obvious that she had nothing better to do at the moment, so why worry as much as what she had been as of late? |

21. The girl eventually reached into her pocket, hoping to find something that would be of use for her. She carefully pulled the ball out and ran her hands across the smooth surface. It was indeed a nice ball, and it probably wouldn't take all that much to get Spirit to play with it, which was rather nice indeed, but it still meant that she would probably be bored, unless Spirit was rather entertaining when he ran around like a crazy thing. Of course, she didn't think that really fit his style, so she didn't expect all that much from him.

22. Maybe it really would be a good idea for Uso to just go ahead and play with him, since then there would be less for her to worry about, and Spirit would be more amused than what he probabyl was right now. Still, she wasn't too sure if she really wanted to do anything at all, seeing as it was starting to get late. They could start going home, but what good would that do for them? Then they'd just be bored at home, which was no different from how it was right now. The girl sighed lightly.

23. Uso looked over at Spirit, who had actually stopped walking again to stare at her, probably wondering why she hadn't stopped walking, too. Perhaps it was for the better that they stopped, since now they'd be able to play with the ball and Spirit would be able to get some real exercise, which he probably needed a lot of. Still, it could have been worse for him, so this would do just fine for now. After a moment, Uso held out the ball so Spirit could see. Almost instantly, he jumped to his paws, his tail wagging rather quickly.
