Welcome to the Volpe Sanctuaries! The Volpe Sanctuaries, V.S. for short, is an adoptable roleplay site that revolves around Volpes, fox-like creatures with floating wings. However, playing with volpes isn't the only aspect of this site! The community may be small, (at the moment) but the members are friendly. And V.S. welcomes all roleplayers, from begginers to experts. And hey, even if you don't know how to RP, there's plenty of other things to do, from collecting volpes to creating your own adoptable.
Our goal is simply to grow, advance, and build a site that appeals to all.

The main sanctuary houses many of the Volpes, and some are put up for adoption! The sanctuary keeper doesn't mind, she actually wants others to have a chance at adopting these wonders. Though, do mind the rules:
• You may only adopt two of one kind of Volpe. Male and male, female and female, male and female, whichever combination you want, just not more then 2 of any kind of Volpe. • You can re-sell past Volpes! It gives a chance for others that have just joined, or have been away for some time to get a Volpe. Please mind that if you sell one, and yet have two that were free from the sanctuary, the other has to be deleted to keep everything fair.
And that’s pretty much it. Volpes here will be changed roughly every week or two, and will usually be announced in the news. But always check in for one that’s secret. ;3 Never know what may happen. Also, donations are always welcome, PM Fluffy(me) if you have any suggestions for new types to be released.

The large, grassy cave that made up the sanctuary was lighted with odd, bright orbs, which were implicated into the cave's walls and ceiling. Various breeds of Volpes padded about, but it wasn't too busy in the main sanctuary. Most of the Volpes were in the inner dens or in the meadows, which were restricted to view from anyone other then the Volpes and the sanctuary keeper. It first glance, you'd probably think the keeper was another volpe. Her tawny brown fur matched a few of the other Volpes lingering about, but her stance was much different. The keeper stood upright, and yet looked completely like a Volpe, though a bit taller. "Welcome", she greets with a wave, "I'm Jira, the sanctuary keeper." Anthro, you may call it, and there's a live one. As the Volpe keeper. Perhaps you'll be willing to adopt a Volpe from her?
